The stone glowed, causing Jon to close his eyes. When he opened them, he was somewhere else. The first thing that he noticed was even before he opened his eyes. Someone was giving a news report, probably on the FOX News Network or CNN. He didn't have his TV on. Where was it coming from? He also heard something sizzling and smelled an aroma of ... eggs? The second thing that he noticed was *after* he opened his eyes. He was standing over the stove in the kitchen. Scrambled eggs were being cooked in a pan. He reached for the handle, and that's when he noticed his fingernails. They were long and painted light pink. Jon was obviously shocked and confused. "What the hell is happening?" he asked aloud.
