The Random Stone (Zoe): Michelle Makes a Wish

"How did you *do* that?" they heard a voice ask from the hallway. They all turned and saw Michelle. The only one who knew who she was, though, was Karyn, since she was the only one who didn't hear the wish when it was made. Jon still remembered having Mikey as a brother, as did Zoe, so it didn't quite click right away who was standing in the hall. Michelle walked into the room a little (she hated having to go in there, as it was a Goth girl's room - yuck!), then saw something in Karyn's hand. She thought she saw it sparkling. Could it be that whatever Karyn was holding was what made that boy appear? She walked a little further in and snatched the stone from Karyn's hand. "Michelle, don't do anything stupid," Karyn warned. "That's a wishing stone. And ..." She was about to say that wishes were granted to a randomly chosen person, but Jon interrupted her before she could say anything. "Michelle?" Jon asked. "Karyn, do you know this girl?" "A *wishing* stone? For real?" Michelle asked, becoming giddy. She turned and ran out of the room, then down the hall, saying out loud "I wish ..." Realizing that it was bad for anyone but himself or Karyn to be using the stone, Jon rushed out of the room after her. But it was too late. She had already finished her wish. The only good thing was that Jon was able to hear the wish, so his memories wouldn't have been changed with everyone else's.
