One Wish For Each Student

In a way, Jon felt bad for all of them. *He* had this incredible item in his possession that allowed him to wish for *anything* he wanted. And they didn't. They'd never be able to use that power, not even once. But Jon decided that he'd give them the chance. One chance to be exact. "Okay, you can each make *one* wish," he yelled above their chattering. They all fell silent and remained that way until Steve asked a question. "How do we do it?" "You have to shake my hand." "That's it?" "Well, then you have to say the two very important words." "I wish?" "That's right." Jon got up on a chair so that everyone would be able to see him. "Now, remember. You'll only be able to make *one* wish. And wishes cannot be reversed, so think it through before you wish it." Jon got down from the chair. "Okay, who's first?" "I think that's me," Steve said, with a smile. Jon held out his hand, the one that the stone was stuck to, and Steve grabbed it and shook hands with Jon. "I wish ..."
