Jon Has Failed

Karyn pulled the trigger and Jon braced himself for the change. He had failed. Now he'd never get back to normal. And in a few minutes, he wouldn't want to. He'd accept his new personality and like it. "You can open your eyes now, Jon," Karyn said. He opened his eyes. They surrounded him, smiling. Admiring the latest addition to their group. He looked down at himself, dreading what he would see. He was wearing a fishnet shirt and black jeans. And he wore boots instead of sneakers. He supposed it wasn't as freaky as he thought it would be. But that didn't make him like it any more. Karyn smiled at him. "You'll *definitely* make a great Goth."
