Just then a group of high school jocks walked by, on their way to the park's basketball court. The group included Tom Welles, Danny Foster, Randy Goodman and Chris Morgan. "Hey, vampire girl!" Tom yelled, laughing. "I thought you could only come out at night! Don't get a sunburn!" "Oh, man," Danny said. "What a freak!" The other guys started laughing too. Morganna glared at them, but then smiled. She walked over to them and touched each of them, causing them to stop walking. They turned to her, as if in a daze. "Looks like *I* have the last laugh," Morganna said. She looked at Tom and said "Slave, what's your name?" "My name is Tom, Mistress," he said, blankly. "Will you please apologize for all those horrible things you said to me?" "Of course, Mistress. I apologize. Please forgive me." Morganna smiled. If she could convert these guys (people who truly hated her) into her servants, then she could convert *anyone*. "Come, my servants," she said. And the four jocks followed her back to Karyn and the others.
