Jon took a deep breath as they finally drove up to Karyn's house. He'd been really worried about her. She'd been in pretty bad condition the whole way, feverish and nauseous, but she seemed a bit better now. "You sure you're ok to be alone?" He asked her as they climbed out of the car. "Yeah." "Ok then. I guess I'll see you later." He said, beginning to walk away. "Jon...thanks for being there." She said suddenly, and planted a kiss on his cheek. He just stood there dumbfounded as she walked through the front door to her house. It may have been kind of scratchy, but it had been nice.
