following story flow...

I'm going to use some very careful story logic here so bare with me. If one follows the natural flow of the story, with Lucas involved now she absolutely *must* interfere, and the photos *must* be destroyed if she is *capable* as it would be out of character for her not to do so. Is there any reason she is not capable of this act? If not, the destruction of photos must stand. If Lucas is not capable then the digital fairies *could* destroy the pictures if asked. I can not see any way at present to make this happen though this *will* have some interesting consequences to their existence in the real world, which I think could yield exploration. - - - On the interaction with Ricky: There is no reason why she couldn't talk to him, it is questionable how long Ricky will listen- given his enthusiasm. - - - ... I actually on reflection, like to keep this as is. It will introduce an interesting dynamic I can work with, and satisfy keeping the tone of the story from being too dark. I can always make Ricky do other mistakes, just not the same one.
