Mindy Discovers the Stone's Power

Mindy looked down at the simple rock and said aloud "I wish I knew how much money this thing could get me." Suddenly, the stone began to *glow*, causing her to accidentally drop it. And in her mind, she *knew* how much the stone could get her. Since it was a *wishing* stone, the stone could get her any amount of money she needed or wanted. She could even become the richest person in the entire world! She looked down at the pavement, but the stone must have bounced away somewhere. Suddenly, she began to panic. How could she have dropped something like that? Of course, she dropped the stone because she was shocked, but at the moment, she felt like that was no excuse. She looked around, thinking that it couldn't have gone far.
