The Bench: Becoming a Stranger

"So, what's up?" Gretchen asked. "Hey, what the hell?" Melissa suddenly blurted out, looking down at herself. "What happened to my clothes?" They were suddenly different. Instead of her pink halter top, white pleated micro-miniskirt, and 4-inch strappy heels, she was wearing the ugliest looking dress she'd ever seen. It was completely unflattering, and the shoes were admittedly comfortable, but equally ugly to Melissa's fashion sense. She looked over at the newcomer, who was a complete stranger to her, and her two best friends. "Is there something wrong, ma'am?" Amber asked. "Ma'am?" Melissa said. "Do you...like...need directions or something?" Tiffany said. Her best friends were looking at her like she was a stranger.
