The Bench: Junko is Lonely

Junko wandered around the mall, unsure of why she was even there. She always hoped to make friends, something she didn't do at school. She was nice, she was pretty...why didn't she have any real friends? There weren't that many Asians in the school, and she was the only Japanese girl. She stood out. She wished her school was more diverse, so she could blend in. She walked into the bookstore quietly, looking around. Maybe she would buy something.
