The Bench: Foiled Yet Again

(**Author's Note:** This is an episode by The Guest, taken from another branch.) Gloria was actually pretty nice, giving most guys a good chance when wanting to date her. And at the moment, she was available. That news was much to the delight of Danny, who remembered her dating a string of dumb jocks. Danny was athletic, but hardly dumb. He shared half his classes with Gloria, and had been trying to get the right chance to ask her out all morning. He slid into a seat next to her. "Hey," he said. "Hi, Danny," she said. "I was wondering ..." he started, before another teen sat down opposite her and called her name. She turned, and fortunately couldn't see Danny scowling.
