The Bench: A Call From Nova

(**Author's Note:** This is an episode by The Guest, taken from another branch.) Melony pulled into a driveway on the outskirts of town. The house wasn't luxurious. It was a small place she'd inherited when her parents had died in a car accident a few years earlier. She frowned, suddenly at that thought. Weren't her parents alive? She must be confused. Heading inside, she didn't notice that the car had turned into a much older model. She started making herself something to eat. She worked nights mostly, and only had a few hours before she was due at work. Enough time for a quick nap, a shower, and then changing into her work clothes. She had just stripped and climbed into bed when her cell phone rang. The phone said "Nova". She answered it. "I need you as soon as possible ..." the voice said. It was her manager. The man was a major bitch, and couldn't manage a checkbook, much less a club. Melony did most of the *real* work.
