Jon Needs to Know What's Happening

"Fine, if you don't want to wear the sundress, wear something else," Sarah said. "But you should wear something a bit more normal than *that*. Like Laura said, it looks like one of *her* outfits." Sarah and Laura shrugged their shoulders, then headed downstairs, leaving Jon alone in the hallway, more confused than he was earlier when he saw that Sarah was in his kitchen. He wondered what he should do next. Go and change into something else, maybe just to humor his "family" so that he could maybe make them more comfortable for more of his questions? Or maybe search Laura's (his former) bedroom for the stone? If it was even in there. He needed to know what was happening.
