Gary Meadows had played football in high school and in college. He'd gotten a full scholarship and gotten a business degree. He wasn't rich, but he made a good enough living that his wife didn't have to work as well. It was these values that he'd tried to impart to his children. Both of them were big sports fans. The jury was still out on little Wesley, but Biff, while having inherited his father's talent, hadn't inherited his brains. Gary wasn't a genius, but he knew he needed more than sports to succeed in the world. Biff seemed to think of little else. Lorraine was a housewife who took care of her children and the house, as well as some part-time work, and other activities around town. When the workmen began to strip them as they had his brother, he was prepared to fight, until he heard a voice.
