The Workmen: Jon Stays

He went back to where he'd started. The mist he'd come through seemed to still be there, but it seemed to be fading. He was afraid if he didn't go now...he would be stuck here till the next day. He made a quick decision...He needed to stay and figure out how to stop this. Or it would just repeat again and again. The split second he took deciding decided for him. The mist was gone. He began to explore the warehouse he was in. He found workrooms where more workmen silently boxed up items and loaded them in preparation for another night's work. He even stumbled across the Meadows family being worked on in separate rooms. He wasn't able to recognize what was being done to them. But considering the range, he doubted they were all going to the same place.
