Miss Fine: Jon Is Mom

"Your mother, Jon..." she said, switching to a more soothing voice. "You are Jon's oldest daughter, aren't you? The most mature? All Linda does is argue with your mom," she commented. Zoe paused. It was true that all Linda seemed to do was argue with Jon. She thought about both of them....and when she thought about who seemed more maternal...Jon came to mind. Jon asking about her day...Jon offering to take her to the mall...She found herself agreeing with Miss Fine. "Yeah" Zoe said. "All Linda does is argue with mom" At that moment Jon came downstairs. "Mikey's in bed waiting for you to come up Rebecca." He said as Rebecca nodded. He turned to Zoe. "Zoe honey, I think it's time you went to bed as well." Zoe nodded. "OK mom"
