Miss Fine: Tiffany Wants To Be Friends

Tiffany's face fell. "I..." she stumbled, nervously. "I didn't mean to...I mean, it was those mean girls...I wanted to fit in..." Kyla suddenly felt less angry, but no less confused as Tiffany began to sniffle. "Tiffany," Kyla started surprised by her reaction. Kyla hadn't realised that Tiffany could get upset so easily. She always appeared to be so confident. "Look," Kyla began again as Tiffany continued to cry. "Tiffany I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so defensive but you have to understand, given our history I was right to be a little cautious" Tiffany nodded. Kyla handed her a tissue so that she could blow her nose and dry her eyes under the glasses. "I, I know." Tiffany said between sobs. "But please understand that I'm trying to change." She sniffed again. "I don't want to hang out with those cheerleaders anymore. I, I." Tiffany paused. "What is it?" Kyla asked. "I, want to hang out with you guys."
