Miss Fine: Meeting The Children

A few minutes later, the man returned with two figures. "Ollie, Kristy. I'd like you to meet your new parents." Mr Gardener said. Neither Martin nor Abby made any comment to the fact that the two "children" were actually adults. *Ollie* was really a woman dressed in a T-shirt with a superhero logo and jeans. Her black hair was cut short and she wore no makeup. *Kristy* on the other hand wore a dress and had long blonde hair and he wore a pair of Mary Janes on his feet. "Ollie is 8 while Kristy is 5." Mr Gardener explained. He ushered "the children" forward. "Come on, they won't bite." Abby was the first to get up. She walked over to Kristy. "Hello sweetheart." She said giving him a warm smile. "My name's Abby but you can call me mommy." She said. Kristy looked Abby over a bit afraid and then he said. "OK mommy!" Then he hugged Abby. Mr Gardener smiled at the sight knowing that his work was done. "I'll leave you to get to know each other." He backed out of the room leaving the Williams with their new children.
