"Jon! What's taking so long? Your appointment is in ten minutes," his mom called from downstairs. Jon sat down on his bed and grasped the stone. "I wish that I had gotten dressed and met Karyn like I normally do." He was forced to close his eyes, and when he opened them, he was standing outside his house. He and Karyn always went to school together. Karyn approached. "Hey, Jon-boy. Ready to go?" "Karyn..." Jon said. "Do you notice anything different about me today?"
