Jon and Karyn

Karyn approached Jon just outside his house. "Hey, Jon-boy. Ready to go?" Jon frowned, getting that strange feeling again. *Didn't they usually meet on the way to school?* He frowned more deeply. Karyn *always* picked him up. Why would he think otherwise? They headed off toward school. "Jon...there's a dance at school coming up next week, and I was thinking of asking someone. I know we're just friends...but usually we go to these things together, and I didn't want to hurt your feelings. Ever since I made that stupid wish to be more like Sarah, boys have been...flirting with me." Jon looked up at her. "So, who are you going to ask?"
