Magic TV: Jon Changes the Channel But It Doesn't Help

Jon picked up the remote control and changed the channel. He had read a few stories online about this sort of thing. If he changed the channel, then Zoe would become someone else in a different TV program. At least, that's how it was in the stories. But this wasn't a story. It didn't work. Zoe seemed to be stuck as Zoe Strong - News Anchor. If there was one good thing about this, it was that Zoe was still in the world somewhere and not stuck in some fictional TV series or movie. Of course, on the other hand, Zoe still existed at the expense of Lisa Strong, the young woman that she replaced. Jon wasn't sure, but he figured that Lisa no longer existed. He changed the channel back to the news program and saw that the screen was no longer black. And Zoe was no longer behind the news desk. Jon figured that she was removed (probably by the director) because of her confused outburst. He just *had* to figure out a way to get her back.
