Biff opened up his locker and got out his books for his first period class. He looked to his right and saw Jay hovering near him. "Why are you still hanging around me?" Biff asked, getting irritated. "We're friends, remember?" "Just because I became like you, it doesn't mean that I'm your friend." "Yeah, but everything *thinks* you're my friend. Believe me, I'm just as weirded out by this as you are." Biff turned to him. "That's definitely not true. I was captain of the football team, the hottest guy in the whole school, I was even dating Sarah McMillan! She won't even *look* at me now. To her, I'm just another loser. Like you." "I hate to break it to you, but I'm *not* a loser." "Whatever." "Oh, there you are, Jay," a girl said. Biff and Jay turned and watched Kyla Leeson approach them. "Oh, hey, Biff," she said, then turned to Jay. "Did you talk to your mom about this weekend?" "Yeah," Jay said. "She said she's okay with it." "Okay with what?" Biff asked, before wondering why he even cared. "Me and Jay were planning to go to this weekend's con," Kyla said. "I'm surprised you didn't know about it. You're usually the one that's most excited about them." She turned back towards Jay and smiled. "So, anyway. I'm looking forward to it. See ya later," she said, waving as she walked down the hall. "What's a con?" Biff asked. "You know, a convention? For science fiction, comic books, that sort of thing." "You mean the ones where those idiots dress up like aliens and stupid stuff like that?" "You don't *have* to dress up. And by the way, you're *just* like those 'idiots' now. So, show a little more consideration." "Not in *this* lifetime," Biff said, slamming his locker door and walking to his first class.
