Teasing: Nadine Wants to be Athena's Friend

Athena grabbed the note. Not because she wanted to read it, but because she wanted to see if there was anything special about it, other than the fact that there was a wish written on it. But when the note got close enough to her, Athena felt compelled to read it anyways. "I wish that the last person who teased me would do anything to become my best friend." Suddenly, Nadine felt different. When she looked at Athena, it was like she was looking at her in a whole new light. She felt bad that she had always teased her. She was supposed to be a Christian, right? And Christians were nice, not hateful. She hated herself for treating Athena so badly. But maybe there was a way for Nadine to make up for it.
