"I just wanted to know where Jon was so I could ask to use the stone. I hope he didn't leave it at home," Karyn said. "Stone? What the hell are you talking about?" Steve asked. Now Karyn looked *really* worried. "The *wishing* stone. You know, the one he showed us yesterday? With the blue branch?" Steve had no idea what she was talking about. But he *was* familiar with wishes. He read one off of that sticky note, just before things had changed. Maybe this wishing stone that Karyn was talking about had something to do with it. If so, maybe he could use it to return to normal. "Uh ... yeah," Steve said, humoring her. "I just forgot." "The stone isn't something you just forget. Are you *sure* you're okay?"
