Desire: Rick Sheppard Has a Big Problem

As the life drained from Ellen's body, Rick began to get scared. What was he *doing*? He jumped up away from her and watched as drops of blood fell from his mouth and onto her lifeless body. He licked up the excess blood on his lips and nearly swooned at the deliciousness of it. Then he nearly vomited, realizing what he had just ingested. He had accidentally swallowed blood before, but it was his own, not someone else's, and certainly not on purpose. He looked down at Ellen's neck. He had sucked her blood out, like a vampire. But why? Why was this happening to him? He took another step back, wondering what to do next. He couldn't let someone find Ellen's body. He'd be accused of murder in a second. What was he going to do?
