Jon leaned against the wall and put his hand to his forehead. "I can't believe this is happening." "Jon, we'll find it," Karyn said, trying to reassure him. "And how exactly are we gonna do that?" Jon asked. "Face it, Karyn. It's lost for good." "Come on, Jon. Don't give up. All we have to do is figure out what's different. If someone is using the stone, then maybe we can figure out who by what's been changed." Jon lowered his hand. "You're forgetting one thing, Karyn. If we don't hear the wish, then we'll think everything is normal just like everyone else." He pushed himself off the wall and raised his hands in the air. "For all we know, this whole *reality* is different." Just then, someone bumped into Jon. "Hey, watch where you're standing!" the person yelled out.
