Outside in the hallway stood Tim Brant, one of Jon's friends.
"Oh. Hey, Tim. Sorry. I forgot about our plans to ..." But as he said that, the bracelet began to grow warm on his wrist. He glanced down and saw that the bracelet was also glowing, or more specifically the *glyphs* on the bracelet were glowing. Why was it doing that?
