The doorbell rang. After a few moments, realizing no one else was going to get it, Mallory hurried to do it herself.
She opened the door, and it took a moment to recognize the girl there. "Umm...Karyn? You're in some of my classes, right?" Karyn was staring at her in a particularly creepy way. "Are you all right?"
"I'm...looking for Jon." Karyn said, cautiously.
Mallory's smile vanished in surprise and some fear. She slammed the door in Karyn's face before even she knew what she was doing.
