Also, just commenting on my interpretation of the character...she has no real ethical issues with what she is doing, yet she finds certain behavior offensive and wants to do something about it. She took Alex in...I'm assuming because she did sympathize with his situation. She usually likes to be the subtle string puller. She has no problems lying to anyone. So, she is probably lying about something to Karyn. But she seems to be content to let Karyn, Kyla, and Athena fight her.
