"Okay, okay," Jon said. He opened the flask and poured one drop of the liquid on the leaf of a nearby tree. In mere seconds, it shrunk in size. "See? It works just like I wanted it to."
"But what if you pour it on me and my whole *body* shrinks?" Karyn asked.
"It won't. If it worked like that, then what I just did would have shrunk the entire tree, not just the leaf."
Karyn thought about it and decided that that made sense. "Okay, fine," she finally said. "Use it on me."
Jon smiled. "Okay, lift up your shirt."
