The Little Angry Girl

I turned to Brav and whispered to him "That little girl. She's not my friend." "What do you mean?" Brav asked. "She's someone else who's pretending to be my friend," I whispered. "Hey, what are you two talking about?" the little girl asked, hopscotching back over towards us. She didn't look cute and happy anymore. Instead, she looked kind of angry, like we were keeping something from her ... which we were. "Nothing," I said. "You're lying!" the girl yelled. "Tell me what you're talking about!" she demanded. Brav looked uneasily at me and I looked back at him the same way.
