I Guess Zoe's Mom Changed

Zoe left her room and walked to the living room where her mom was, only to find that the whole room looked different. The walls were now painted black (or maybe it was black wallpaper?), the curtains over the windows were black, and the furniture all looked different. It looked very dark. Her mom was nowhere to be found, then she heard someone walking into the room from the kitchen. She looked in that direction and saw her mom walk to the sofa and sit down. She couldn't believe it.
