Jane picked up the wishing rock and said, "I would never have believed in magic, but this wishing rock is both a great boom and a terrible curse. That wish done, the women continued to talk and soon left the room, with the wishing rock sitting on the table. Shortly after they left the room someone entered the room and picked up the wishing rock. That person then left the house and went to a quiet spot.
