Lonna Makes a Run For It

Mark stopped walking and looked at her. "Maybe I should take you to the nurse's office instead. Did you bump your head, or something?" he asked, his irritation changing to concern. Lauren may have figured out what was happening, but it was taking Lonna a little longer. "No," she said. "I just..." _Could she be right...does this outfit make me look so different even people I know don't recognize me?_ she wondered. "I'll go to see the nurse right now," she said, hurrying off in that direction. As soon as she was out of his sight, she made a dash in a different direction. She needed to get a fresh pair of clothes.
