*Well I never had a place that I could call my very own...* Jon had never seen anything like it. Thousands of grand pianos crammed onto a single stage, thousands of Billy Joels seated at them, and thousands of voices rising in perfect unison. *But that's alright, my love, 'cause you're my home* A shiver went up Jon's spine. It was eerie. Poignant, too, but something was unsettling about all of these completely identical people, with their completely identical voices. Jon felt his mom's arm wrap around his shoulder. He looked over, and her eyes were tearing up. This was really getting to her. Jon looked around: it was getting to everyone. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, from what Jon could tell. Every girl Jon knew was down there singing. Karyn an Zoe. Sarah and the cheerleaders. Gladys Brewer and Kyla Leeson. Even Nadine Ferguson, self-proclaimed holy savior of Lake Point High School, must have been rocking out to "Only the Good Die Young" and "Sometimes a Fantasy" earlier in the set. *Home can be the Pennsylvania Turnpike Indiana's early morning dew* Home can be anywhere. It's not a stagnant place. Somewhere in the back of Jon's head, gears were turning *High up in the hills of California Home is just another word for you* That's it! So long as Billy Joel was outside of Lake Point, Jon couldn't do anything, but Jon could wish about something _within_ Lake Point that might affect Billy Joel. Jon reached his hand into his pocket, and whispered so that nobody else could hear, "I wish..."
