Jon Swaps With Tom

Jon turned back to his girlfriend, but Tom was determined. He slapped his hand on Jon's arm and yanked him back around. "This is important, man," he said. Then suddenly, there was another flash of yellow light. As per Sabrina's wish, both Jon and Karyn would swap with the next *two* people they encounter. In this case, "encountering" someone would be "colliding with" someone. Jon already swapped with Biff, and now he was swapping with Tom (the second and final person). "Fine, I'll just tell you later. But it's important," Jon said, before turning around and walking away. Tom turned back to his girlfriend Karyn and continued the kiss that was interrupted by Jon. But a few seconds into it, Karyn broke it off. "What's wrong, babe?" he asked. "I don't know. Something feels ... different," she said. "Different than what?" he asked. She looked past Tom and watched Jon Gibson (one of Tom's jock buddies) walk away. It was strange, but she felt like she should have been kissing *him* instead. But she didn't love him. She loved Tom. Suddenly, the warning bell rang. "We'll have to do this later," Karyn said. "We only have a minute to get to class." Then they both turned away from each other and ran to their next class.
