Police Detective Jeffery Gould Philadelphia Homicide had a new case. The body of a white female age approximately 35 years was found stuffed behind the desk at a downtown office. The coroner's report was still being prepared but it looked like the women was strangled. The Women entered the office at 11:00 AM Saturday morning to visit Thomas Verdoun a well known and well off Real Estate developer. Mr. Verdoun left the office 10 minutes later, the mystery woman did not leave till the coroner removed the body. Anna Klein the receptionist discovered the body while turning off lights closing the office at 1:00 PM. The office was normally open a half day on Saturday. Mr. Verdoun's car was still in the parking lot. Gould put out an APB on Verdoun. Examination of the woman's purse found the normal range of contents ID included. Her Name was Margot Hayweather of Devon, PA. As he checked out the victim's past things got weird fast. Miss Hayweather was wanted for questioning in an axe murder on the Main Line. The Victim of the axe murder was wanted for an arson that killed 4 people in Princeton. One of the fire victims was wanted for vehicular homicide in Stanford. The Stanford victim was a Boston police officer who had shot and killed a woman in broad daylight at a baseball game. He soon had a chain of 32 unsubtle murders starting in northern Nova Scotia. The perpetrator/victims were all "normal upstanding citizens" three were cops, one was a Royal Canadian Mounted policeman. Police Detective William (Cash) Register, Jeffery Gould's partner, was still at the crime seen. An attractive young woman knocked on the office door. Register opened the door and said," Ma'am this office is closed and it is a sealed police crime seen." "Sir, I have some information that is germane your murder investigation," she said. "How do you know there was a murder" Register asked. "A murder no sign of a struggle, the victim and the perpetrator not known to one another, no apparent motive," she droned. "Lady maybe you better tell me what you know about this case" the detective said to the strange red hared woman. "You will not believe me," she stated. "Let me be the judge of that," he said. "Very well! You, despite all appearances, are looking at the work of a serial killer," she said. "Can you identify this alleged killer," the detective scoffed. "I will help you by showing you a key feature of his modus operandous," she said. "Just what are you talking about," Register asked. "I can no longer try to stop this predator myself, so I must convince you that you are looking for a being from another dimension," she calmly stated. "Trick or treat is a long way off, what do you really know about this case lady," an annoyed Register questioned. I will demonstrate," she said. William Register felt everything that he was wrenched and contorted his mind could not deal with it, it rebelled and went unconscious.
