ABANDONED: A Strange Man

Charlie woke up at the voice of Donovan. He was screaming about something. After opening his eyes, he saw the impossible. A strange (although, well-dressed) man appeared out of a cloud of blue sparkling dust and walked towards Donovan. "Don't you fucking *touch* me!" he yelled at the man. "Come with me," the man said gently. "You'll feel much better. It's what you want," he said with a genuine smile. "No! I'm not ... I ..." Donovan seemed to become disoriented and then his body dropped to the floor with a thump. The strange man bent over and touched Donovan's body. In an instant, it disappeared in a puff of blue sparkling dust. Then the man stood up and looked straight at Charlie.
