Wish Chain: The Answer Is No

The first thing Jon needed to know was whether or not she could stop the "wish chain" with a wish. But after making a wish, she discovered that the answer was "no". The wish that Sarah had made was far too specific. There didn't seem to be any way to alter the original wish. But that didn't mean that Jon couldn't personally stop it herself. For example, if she found who the current link in the chain was, she could make sure that *she* was the one that became the new link. Then all she would have to do is just not wish for anything. Of course, Jon would rather have a better option, but at least she could put a stop to the otherwise never-ending chain. ------ Meanwhile, Jane was walking out to the parking lot, intending on loading her groceries in her car. But for some reason, she couldn't remember where she parked.
