At The Party

After a few minutes of walking, Zoe and Karyn finally made it to Sarah's house. The music was so loud, Zoe had to yell to Karyn just to talk to her. "Where's Sarah?!" "Probably inside!" They walked around a bunch of people. They were standing, sitting, talking. And they were all Goths. Zoe had never seen so many in one place before. The thing that was weirder was that she **knew** most of them ... from school. Except, **she** remembered them differently. They walked further into the house. Karyn pointed to someone across the room. "Who's that?" asked Zoe. Karyn got a funny look on her face. "It's Sarah," she said, wondering why Zoe hadn't recognized her. Zoe looked closer. *It couldn't be. Sarah has blond hair and she's a lot more tanned than **that**.* Except, Zoe had forgotten that things have changed. The Sarah that **she** knew didn't exist anymore, at least not entirely. It was hard to think of Sarah McMillan as a Goth, but there she was.  As they neared her, Sarah noticed them. "**What** are you two doing here? You weren't invited."
