Sara went with Ray to the airport Weed, Steward and Raymond Jones were heading to Savannah. Sara would take care of RayJon and the Porch while Ray helped hunt the Hunter. When Ray handed Sara the car keys, "she joked are you sure you are really my husband?" "Yes! Anything to get my car safely away from that crazy private eye you hired. It's bad enough he has my body, but my car too!" Ray said. Sara belief and support had lifted Ray's spirits he had not asked for the investigation status in the three hours since he had told his wife. It was a sad parting. To an uninformed observer it looked as if the older woman was sending her daughter off to war. Savannah was a city under siege by Noon Monday the body count was over sixty. Arson and looting had the governor preparing a proclamation of marshal law. While most law enforcement officials were working at containing the riot the members of the Domino Task force had a different problem. All the additional random violence was obscuring the trail of the Domino Killer. Gena's car and Cash's body were found at a truck stop just outside of town. Hunter had left a note with times and map coordinates for fifteen events were the Domino killer had "transferred software" in Gena's Car. He also left a very annoyed Gorgega Highway patrol officer in Cash's body. Gina and Cash were having problems of a different kind. The transactions Jones had made to pump money into Gina's Visa debit account's were not yet posted, and would not be posted till 3:00. As a result they had used all but 30 dollars of their cash getting to a hotel and renting one room. The plan was for them to get down here and set up a base of operation Jacob was driving down with extra equipment and his truck the radio shack special. One problem being that Jacob was the only one of the three with much of a credit line. The other thing was the influx of media to cover a story bigger then Rodney King and O.J. combined was eating into the hotel rooms. At least communications were going as planned they were getting all the forwarded calls from the office. The distressing part was Hunter was becoming a regular caller. He had called in all of Domino's "Software Transfers" by the time Jacob rolled in at 3:20 PM he was up to 17. Hunter also described himself and the domino as extra dimensional aliens. He described Domino as a fugitive from justice and having a highly skewed moral routine. Inspector Carlson Knight of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police was over one thousand miles from his jurisdiction as a special adviser to the FBI on the Domino Murders he had become good friends with Agent Steward. Knight was at the airport to meet Steward's Flight. He was most interested in meeting this detective from Philadelphia who seemed to have such an insight into the killer. Security at the airport was intense unfortunately there was no way of telling all these security people what they were up against. He was hoping to find out what he was up against. The plane arrived twenty minutes late at 7:30 PM. Stewart greeted Knight and made the introductions. Stewart told his guests about how Knight had lost a friend and college to the third Domino killing. Stewart talked about his friend as he drove them to pick up a rental car. Weed had made reservations for three rooms in the hotel Jacob had told him to it was outside the area were marshal law had been declared. He used Jones' American Express card to cover his rooms and added the room that Gena and Cash had gotten to his tab. Hunter's last call of the day gave an uptown coordinate at 5:00 PM it was far from the rioting. The Georgia National Guard had started taking up positions by sunset. Riots had started in eight other cities across the country. Mr. Simmons could not get Mrs. Simmons on the phone she had gone into hiding. He did get to see her on the news quit often. The CDC was no longer using space suites around him. However the spinal tap he had to undergo was a new dimension in pain and discomfort. He had also been moved to Walter Read Army Hospital. Weed and Knight went to check out the uptown site when the normal sources failed to turn up any dead bodies. It was in one of the most beautiful spots in the city. Weed did not see any really good spots to hide a body or for the victim to sleep off a mind transfer and run away. The fact that the Domino had bothered to hide a victim worried him. Knight and Weed agreed that they needed to come back in the morning when there were some people to talk to.
